Hi everyone! My name is Adharsh (Dash), and I'm pleased to serve the EUNS as president of the 24/25 committee! Neurological sciences hold a special place in my heart, and it's something I'm extremely passionate about. I've been fortunate enough to have had some experience in all fields neuro including neuroscience, neurology, and neurosurgery. My aim this year is to serve medical students who have a passion for neurological science, build meaningful networks with like-minded individuals and develop a better understanding of how to pursue a career within the field. I promise to do my best to provide high-quality events, and I look forward to networking with my fellow brainiacs!!!

Hey folks! I'm Roshan, a 5th Year medical student at the University of Edinburgh. It's an absolute honour be your EUNS Vice President for this upcoming academic year. We've got so many exciting events planned, and a fantastic team behind us this year. We'll do our very best to be the best we've ever been. I look forward to a fruitful term, and I hope that the Neurological Society can collectively add some benefit to your time here at Edinburgh Medical School. I know this is an Introductory Post but if any of you (yes, even you fresh 1st Years) have any questions, please feel free to get in touch! I can assure you that our EUNS Committee this year is brimming with vibrant, brilliant, and kind-hearted individuals - that I'd proudly call my friends. I've probably said too much! Anyways, stay healthy and most importantly, take care of yourselves - so we can take care of others! :)

Hi, I’m Zak, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Conference Chair for Edinburgh Neuro Society for 2024/25. I’m really looking forward to working with our fantastic team to deliver high-quality, accessible events that inspire and engage our community.

This year, I’m eager to promote collaboration between neuro societies, building a network of medical students passionate about the neuro field. I also hope to strengthen the connection between neuroscience research and clinical practice, bringing together those in both the research and medical neuro spaces.

I’m excited about what we can achieve together and can’t wait to get started!

Hello there! My name is James, and I am a 6th year medical student and also one of the EUNS research leads for this year. I consider myself to have a strong research background, having completed both a Bsc and Msc before starting my medical studies. I have also undertaken various research internships across Europe and the US, which has allowed me to publish work and attend multiple conferences to present my research.

These experiences have allowed me to foster connections with renowned investigators alongside developing the skills to conduct research and write literature reviews independently.

I believe this puts me in a great position to leverage these connections, to organise interesting talks, and create a pathway for others to get involved in research!
