Scottish International Neurological Conference (SINC) 2025

The Scottish International Neurological Conference (SINC) was founded in 2025 as a collaborative effort between the Edinburgh University Neurological Society (EUNS), Aberdeen University Neurological and Neurosurgical Society, St. Andrews University Neuroscience Society, Glasgow University Neuroscience Society, and Dundee University Neurology and Neurosurgery Society (DUNNS).
SINC was established to provide an inclusive platform for students, trainees, and professionals passionate about neuroscience, neurology, and neurosurgery, fostering interdisciplinary learning and collaboration.
SINC 2025 marked a significant milestone in the evolution of international student-led neurological conferences. With over 200 delegates from across six continents, the event successfully underscored the appetite for continued international collaboration in neurology, neurosurgery, and neuroscience.

This was our first international conference for our annual EUNS conference. We welcomed 12 speakers and 4 workshop speakers from 5 different countries from 11 different institutions from around the world!

This student conference will showcase a plethora of fascinating talks on the subject of neuroscience, neurology and neurosurgery, with focus on the blood-brain barrier (BBB). Students will also have the opportunity to present their work and participate in our essay competition.
